Win!

I got to interview Cat Ivins from Olive Bites Studio  as part of my A Jewelled Life article in Issue 3 of Etzcetera. Oh happy days. I love, love, love Cat’s jewellery and have bought several pieces from her including this cork ring..

and bracelet for my friend’s birthday.

Cat creates two eclectic and unique lines of jewellery for her two Etsy stores, Uncorked and Polarity. One of her most popular pieces – the Polarity Locket is an interchangeable magnetic piece of jewellery, making it delightfully versatile. Change the look of your jewellery depending on your mood or outfit!

Cat says, “I weld, with love and propane, these adorable little lockets from a recycled steel auto part that with the help of a strong little magnet turns one piece of jewelry into many! Doing more with less is something I am absolutely committed to!”

We showcased a ton of Cat’s artworks and shared photos  of her inspiring Studio and work space in the current issue of Etzcetera. Check it out here.

Thanks Kim, for making your magazine a reality. So wonderful to see so many talented people getting their creations showcased. So often we just need to see other people achieving their dreams to get a bit of a kick-start with thinking our dreams are also achievable. And if we are too busy caught up in the life we are living at the moment, the magazine allows us to look and appreciate all the wonderful ideas, as well as know where we can go if we want to buy some of these amazing items.
